Installation of KDL WOS in the KARE warehouse in Garding. KARE Design with its 350 employees is a retail chain marketing trendy products in the design and fashion sector.

Scope / requirements

• Radio data transmission assisted fork lift control system with priority control and track optimization
100 % outgoing goods safety on pallet and package level due to RFID supported final inspection of pallets at receiving gates and online documentation during picking: Per package the picked items are recorded online and the respective shipping label is printed immediately on printers installed on vehicles. 
• Process optimization due to reorganization of warehouse areas and several individual measures
  

Result

• Installation of the KDL WOS in the KARE warehouse in Garching during operation after an 8-month development phase at the end of 2007.
With the same workforce more goods can be stored and dispatched. The outgoing goods safety and the inventory safety was increased considerably
